Phoenix Hard Water and Your Misting Nozzles
Ask anyone in Phoenix, Mesa or Chandler about white crust on their faucets and you'll hear the same thing: hard water. Those same minerals can clog misting nozzles.
The Patio Misting System Pro includes a calcium inhibitor filter. For hard water, the brand recommends running two inline filters. Install them at the inlet before the pump.
Check your nozzles every so often during summer. If one sputters, unscrew it and soak it in vinegar or CLR for 30 minutes.
Stainless nozzles and connectors hold up better than cheap brass or plastic in the Arizona sun.
